December 16th Picks

What's up sport's fans! So first things first. Our little theory we were trying out, well that didn't work out too well and we are leaving that faster than an ugly girl at the bar. What a night in the NBA last night. I thought I was tripping or something seeing what was going on. First off, the Kings were dominating the Hornets at half time, but some sense came back and the Hornets won. But that's nothing like the Celtics and Knicks game. Amare makes a game winning shot right at the buzzer to pull ahead of the Celtics, but noooooooooo, he didn't get it off in time and the Celtics win! Crazy! But it doesn't end there! The Bucks gave the Spurs the ride of their life, coming back and tying the game up with seconds left. And what happens? The Spurs make a game winning shot and this one did count! Let me tell you folks, fear the deer cuz they're here to kick some rear. And tune in tomorrow when we feature our new exclusive writer all about dem Green Bay Packers and his pick for it. It's something you do not wanna miss!

Hawks vs Celtics O/U 187
After that hard fought game yesterday, we imagine the Celtics are gonna be a bit tired and not play their best defense. Not that they should have to play too tough of defense against the slumping Hawks. The last time these two teams played earlier this year, Celtics dominated 99-76. This is what the Hawks coach had to say after the game:
"This was very embarrassing," Atlanta coach Larry Drew said after that game. "Very, very embarrassing. Very embarrassing. If I had one word to sum it up: embarrassing."
Think they were embarrassed a bit? And what do big boys do when they're embarrassed? They kick some ass! Yeah basketball! Look how Miami whooped up on Cavs the first round, and last night they kept it close. We think the same will happen here, and with a tired Celtics team, the scoring will go up from lack of defense, and take it over the 187. Also, the last 7 out of 10 home games for Boston have been on the over. Good luck.
Over 187 $5.45

Oral Roberts vs Missouri Spread: 16
#12 Missouri will be looking for a little revenge after Oral Roberts upset them last year on a buzzer winning shot. However, Missouri will be without their starting point guard Dixon, who leads the team in assists. So who's gonna be dishing out the ball? We don't know or care, but what we do know, is that Missouri hasn't really been blowing teams out of the water, unless it's a school that doesn't even get a betting spread because they are that terrible. So, an average Oral Roberts team who is gonna wanna play the best they can against a ranked team we feel will keep it within the 16 point spread.
Oral Roberts +16 $5

49ers vs Chargers Spread: 10
Thursday night football and we'll be forced to watch it on the ESPN game cast. 49ers are sort of finding some sort of rhythm, but we see them getting owned by Rivers wonderful December record. It's at home for the Chargers too, so take them to cover the spread!
Chargers -10 $100

Recap

Hawks 90 Celtics 102 Total: 192 Won
They started out the game a little slow but eventually the scoring picked up and the over came around!

Oral Roberts 62 Missouri 81 Lost
Oral Roberts managed to pull within 9 with 5 minutes left of the game, and then boom, they're down by almost 20. Close but no cigar.

49ers 7 Chargers 34 Won
Wow, the Chargers came to play! We won, but Odin can't believe he dropped Vincent Jackson from his team after he scored 3 touchdown tonight! We hope you cashed in on this easy win tonight.
