December 4th Pick

Alright, so we know we said soccer picks are dumb, they're never predictable, the teams show up one day go to sleep the next, but this time it shouldn't happen that way! And if it does than we're completely jinxed and you should NEVER listen to our soccer advice, but here us out on this one.
Birmingham vs Tottenham
Now Odin sleeps, eats, and drinks soccer, and besides Manchester United he loves Tottenham from England.  They're finally producing a quality team that just saw their way through to the next round of Champions League.  They had to beat Inter Milan to do this! That's a tough feat, especially since they're the defending Champions! We're telling ya, there's something special about this team, especially with Van der Vaart now a part of the squad.  Birmingham did great last year, and many expected them to continue that performance going into this year.  But they were pushed around like a little kid for his snack pack at lunch, and Tottenham should definitely win this game! It's at 9 am central, so get your money down while the money line is even folks!

Screw this.  Tottenham was in front with 9 minutes left in the game! Ahhhhhhhh! Frustrating.

Kentucky vs NC Spread 1
We picked Kentucky to cover the -1 spread here, but they didn't score a field goal in 9 minutes at the end of the game, ultimately leading to the loss, December 4th is not starting how we want to.

Butler vs Duke -14
We took Duke here to cover the spread of 14.  They're number 1 and on fire, and the oracle said so, so lets see if he can redeem himself after the earlier loss today!

Talk about bad luck again! Duke had the spread covered with 20 seconds left, then for no reason the Duke player throws a terrible pass out of bounds.  Then they foul Butler and they bang in 2, and then they let time run out! Who smells a fixed game! Da boys are gonna get em for this!

NC State vs Syracuse Spread 12
Hurry and get in the Syracuse spread for -12.  Watch the #7 team absolutely crush this team that got killed by Wisconsin!

Ladies and gentleman we apologize, this one did not cover either.  We may be gamblers, but let us teach as well.  This is the world of sports! Yesterday we were hotter than hot blondes kissing, today we took off the beer goggles and turned out to be be two 5's to make a 10.  One day you're on fire and the next you feel like you're never gonna win a game again! You can do all the research in the world and still get the pick wrong.  But, it all comes back ya buddy!

Magic vs Bucks
Looks like the Magic forgot to take their flu shots! Maybe they don't provide health care on that team? Anyways, Magic are feeling the loss of several key players due to the flu, but that hasn't stopped them from beating the Pistons and the Bulls! So what should be any different about the Bucks?  Take Magic straight up for a nice chunk of change ya dig!

Oh well, putting $5 down on this really didn't hurt anything.  We just thought it was worth a shot since the money line was so good.  But Magic only had 8 players to play! So odds of winning really should've been much worse.  So we lost our $5 that coulda bought us a piece of pizza down town after the bars... life will go on!

Mavericks vs Kings O/U 187
Another lesson here, always remember to stick to your bread and butter, although there are tons of other things to bet on.  Trust us, the less times you bet, the more you win! What? That makes no sense you say, but look at it this way.  You bet 2 games at $20 a piece that you are absolutely positive on and you win $40.  But your buddy bets on 6 games at $20 a piece thinking oh man I'm gonna win so much today! You end up winning 3 of them for $60, but you just came even.  Bet what you know and not what seems like it could be good! So, we got our accounts up nicely with the O/U, lets get back to basics! We like the OVER on this game.  Mavericks are one of the best playing teams right now in the NBA, and the Kings have defensive issues that should see a potent attacking force taking advantage of that.  Good luck sports fans!
