NFL Free Picks

Are you ready for some football! Another weekend of NFL football here, man the season is flying by fast. But we got some real treats for you today. Throw away the Little Debbie's because these are way better! Don't know if No Fear will be posting his picks since he is at a family Christmas thing, but if so they will most likely be similar to Odin's, only ten times the money.

Cardinals vs Panthers Spread: 3

Well one bad team plays a terrible team, don't get too excited now! But the terrible team, man they're terrible! We remember not too long ago when the Panthers were a dangerous team, but now them big ugly cats have been de-clawed. We won't get to hear anymore ranting and raving by Derek Anderson because there's a new boy in town and he goes by the name of John Skelton. He looks pretty confident and we see him being able to handle the Panthers lousy defense. Also, Hightower is looking pretty good right now and should be able to curb stomp this line (hopefully because Odin is starting him in fantasy playoffs). The only real threat coming from the Panthers side of the ball is their run game, but lets not kid ourselves and think an Adrian Peterson replica is gonna show up.
Here's a nice little facteroo for you all, when teams have won two or less games, they have only covered the spread 1 time out 10! That's insane and we taking that pass it here! We really like this play this week, and taking Cardinals SU may not be a bad idea either.
Cardinals +3 $15

Browns vs Bengals: Spread 0

We just don't get the Bengals. They have all the talent there to be an awesome team, but maybe T.O. and Ochocinco should start worrying more about football then their TV show. Just a thought. Palmer single handedly ruined the game against the Steelers with his great pick 6's. Why would the Bengals try in this game? The two clowns mentioned earlier are both nursing wounds and will probably not give it their all during the game. That's if Palmer could get them the ball in the first place. The Browns on the other hand have surprised us a bit. They're playing some pretty decent football which is good to see because they usually suck... bad. Delhomme will not play in this game, he should go back to the Panthers and then they'd probably have the perfect season... of no wins. The same stat from above applies to this game as well. We see green for Brown!
Browns 0 $10

Eagles vs Giants Spread: 3

This bet isn't quite as good as the Cardinals one, so be a bit more cautious on this. The soaring Eagles take on the dumb ol' Giants. We always getting a kick seeing Eli Manning standing on the sidelines. He looks like he's always about to cry and he has no idea where he is. Someone get him his binkie. The Eagles come to knife fights with some serious guns. Michael Vick, Desean Jackson, LeSean McCoy are just a few to start off with. We hope the Giants bring their bulletproof vests for those homies. The Giants have some weapons of their own, and the Eagles defense is a bit banged up which is why we are not laying big money on this game. However, this game is real important for 1st place and the Eagles we think will definitely step up to this challenge in a close contest. It also helps that the Eagles have won the past 5 games against the Giants, they got their number, and you know they'll call. This game is also worth taking a look at for a SU win by the Eagles.
Eagles +3 $5

Falcons vs Seahawks Spread: 6.5

Are we missing something here? The Falcons have been on a roll and last week they continued that. Put their 5-1 ATS record on the road in there too and this seems like a dream! Also, with a win the Falcons will for sure claim their spot in the playoffs and relax a bit. That's why all at the same time it seems a little fishy too, and won't go too extraordinary. However, we still see the Falcons covering by at least a touchdown if not more, so we gonna lay a small piece down.

Falcons -6.5 $10

Jets vs Steelers Spread: 5

What happened to these Jets? Someone forgot to check the landing gear because they have been crashing. Nothing better to repair than a big hyped up game. This will be a battle of defense to the extreme. The Jets offense led by Sanchez has looked miserable recently, and it doesn't help when you'll be playing a defensive team like the Steelers. The good news for the Jets who also boast a great defense is that the o-line on Steelers is starting to become like swiss cheese. This game should stay quite close, probably by no more than a field goal.
Jets +5 $5

Packers vs Patriots Spread: 14

Well it's official folks, the hero known as Aaron Rodgers will not play this must win game for the Packers. Shit. Well Matt Flynn, what you got cooked up for this one? Gonna throw another pick in the end zone? Probably, the Patriots defense has been rocking it. Sad day for Packer fans, we need a miracle! Scroll down and see the Packer Backer's pick for this game, we'll see how he does on his debut pick for the Golden Goose! Otherwise he better hide.

Olay it's a parlay! Someday a parlay has got to work right!? Here's this weeks:
Browns 0, Cardinals +120, Eagles +3, Falcons -250, Jets +5
$5 to win $99.93

  1. Found this site on an espn comment board and have been comparing my picks to yours ever since. From one college guy to another keep up the good picks.
Definitely love the blog as well as the friendship/rivalry thing you guys have going on!
I agree with you on these picks. I'm taking the Falcons and the Cardinals this week. Panthers simply can't compete enouch with Arizona and Falcons will blow out Seahawks by two touchdowns.
I'd watch out on the Cincy pick tho..thats the only one I dont agree with at all. I have cincy winning.

  2. Great to hear a fellow college student is following along with our picks, we'll keep up the good work! Yes, the Browns pick we were hesitant on. Definitely could see the Bengals winning though, but hoping the trends will favor the Browns! Keep checking back and tell your friends! Let us know what picks you are ever looking at.
