Yo sports fans what's crackin? We going back here to some good ol' college football! Haven't done that for awhile, so why not feast on a bowl game? More picks will come on later up. The Mavs play the Spurs tonight and we're waiting for Dirk Nowitzki to give us a call and tells us how he feels about that game. Remember he's been right 3 times so far! So Dirk called and said to stay away from this game. It's likely he won't play, and even if he does he won't be playing 100% due to the knee injury he picked up against the Thunder. The Mavs showed they missed him by losing their next game at home to the Raptors.
Kansas State vs Syracuse Spread: 0
So here we got two 7-5 teams. One from the Big 12 and the other from the Big East. Well ladies and gentlemen were about to see which one really is Big! The line is set at 0 although accuscore slightly favors Kansas State in this game. But you can never go by accuscore, so lets see why Kansas State is the pick here. Syracuse started off as a pretty good team, but then by the end of the season only scored 13 points in their last 2 games combined, and 33 in their last 4. Hmmm, did they fix those kinks on the little break? The Big 12 is also a stronger conference than the Big East, so Kansas State know what real street thugs are like, not these petty little shoplifters. Lets not forget Kansas State's running game and their star Daniel Thomas who rushed for nearly 1500 yards this season. That's how much money I'm winning after this... well not quite. Kansas State sure likes to make good running backs, who could forget about that little Darren Sproles character that's now playing for the Chargers. To put the cherry on top of it all, Kansas State is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games, and today that will go up to 7-2 you know what it is.

Knicks vs Magic O/U 213
The Knicks were thought to be on fire and gonna become a new threat in the league. Well that's cooled off now for sure. The Magic have a new looking roster that has been doing very well for them, blowing even the Spurs up. Both these teams like to score, however, the Magic also like to play a bit of D. Really? Yeah I know rare right, didn't think defense was even allowed in the NBA. The Magic are allowing an average of only 92.9 points per game against them. In this important game for both teams who have both had a day of rest, we see the Magic continuing their solid D and the total keeping on the UNDER. This is a one beer play.

Iowa State vs Virginia Spread: 3
Well, well, well, what do we have here? The 11-2 Iowa State taking on the 8-4 Virginia in Virginia's home, and Virginia is favored! Iowa State comes from the Big 12 led by Kansas, while Virginia comes from the ACC led by Duke. Man these two teams have it rough. The edge for this game definitely goes to Virginia though, so peep this! Iowa State has lost 5 of its players due to suspension and the other from a player transferring. Guess they haven't been hitting the books lately, school first, throwing orange ball around second. The strength of schedule that Iowa State has been playing isn't the best either, it's like they were bench pressing 145 pounds. Not good. Virginia has been alright and should have all the players they need in this game to take on an Iowa State squad who is far from their normal roster. A pint of beer would be good here.
Virginia -3 $7
Kansas State 34 Syracuse 36 Lost
Wanna say thank you to the Kansas State idiot who decided he needed to do some shenanigans after the touchdown, causing the 2 point conversion to tie the game to be taking from the 18 yard line! But at least you got to do your little act, idiot. Who knows if Kansas State would've converted anyways from the normal spot and won in overtime, this game was basically a shootout of touchdowns.
Iowa State 60 vs Virginia 47 Lost
Virginia did not show up to play today and got their asses handed to them. Looks like missing all those players really didn't hurt Iowa State much at all.
Knicks 103 Magic 112 Lost
Every other quarter reflected each other here. The 1st and 3rd quarters had 45 and 47 points, whereas the 2nd and 4th quarter had 61 and 62 points. They had to score 61 points in the 4th to make the total go over, so they did it by scoring 9 points in the last minute. What a heartbreak. Yesterday didn't lose, today didn't win how does that work!
