Hey everyone. It's Drew and I'm here because I'm excited to talk about NFL playoffs. This weekend we have two matchups that I really like so let's get down to business.
Ravens vs Chiefs
At first glance this looks to be a close match. Kansas City seemingly came out of nowhere this season and started playing a lot of good football and winning games. Baltimore has been looking very good all season as usual but has had a few surprising hiccups. That being said the Chiefs haven't exactly shown us anything spectacular and they do not deserve to be in the playoffs as they showed us in week 17. In fact they have not beat any of the teams in the playoffs once this year except for beating the seahawks, who cares. Also, teams that are coming off a loss of 17 points or more in week 17 are 0-5 against the spread in the first game of the playoffs, which is a good thing if you have your money on the Ravens. Also, the Ravens are experienced in the playoffs, they have been here before many times and will probably continue for a seasons to come. Although the Ravens offensive line can look a bit like swiss cheese I still expect Flacco to do what he does best, that is win. I don't mind a decent size wager here but because I have made a couple dumb bets recently I will have to keep it to a six pack at $50 so to recap I'm taking Ravens -3 $50 SIX PACK
Packers vs Eagles
Much to the dismay of Odin, and contradictory to everything previously written on this blog I know exactly who is going to come out on top in this matchup. Although I have previously sworn myself off of betting on the Packers they are the clear cut choice for this weekend. The eagles are favored because people like to bet on them and thats all vegas cares about. The packers are definatley the better team here. Although they have suffered many injuries their defense still came out very highly ranked in the league this season. Rodgers should consider it a personal insult that he is the underDOG to someone who spent many long nights killing dogs. Expect Rodgers to come out and have a huge game as he is probably very pissed that he sucked last week and is not the right quarterback to have as the underdog. The Packers have not been playing awesome but you dont need to play awesome to win games, you just need to win them. That being said they have won their last two games and teams that have won two consecutive games going into the palyoffs tend to do well their first game which makes perfect sense. I am confident in another six pack bet for $50 on the PACK to cover +2.5
