So yesterday was a gem! 7-2 is pretty nice. It was like Halladay pitching with all the run support possible! Now getting those kind of results everyday would be pretty bomb, and I'll do the best I can. I ain't no hero, or am I? You can debate on that one while I put in the hours and hours of studying, formula calculations and Cliff Lee is supposed to call me tonight to let me know what are some good picks for tomorrow. As I'm sure you've all heard as well, bin Laden is dead! So lets celebrate with some wins today. After talking with Cliff Lee last night, here's what he suggested to me. Not nearly as many picks as yesterday, just so many matchups that I feel could go either way based on pitching and all that stuff. May add a couple more later on if a better gut feeling comes, but these ones for now.
Still debating the Yanks vs Tigers. The Tigers are in a real slump right now with 6 losses and little run support. But Verlander 18-8 in May and 3-1 against the Yanks. The Yanks pitcher Colon has been doing great this year, but is 0-6 against the Tigers. So maybe I'll avoid that one completely. Any input is greatly welcomed. Good luck all.
Giants vs Nationals
Nationals -103
The Giants have not shown what made them champs last year. Their offense has been pretty bad, which may pose a problem with the Nationals pitcher who is 3-0 with a 2.33 ERA against the Giants. Bumgarner is gonna need something, because that bum is 0-4 this season, but with no run support you can't do much about that. So look for the Nationals to pull off the victory here and get some moolah in your account.
Giants 0 Nationals 2 WON
The offense of the Giants didn't show up again, and good thing for that because the Nationals posted only 2 of their own.
Brewers vs Braves
Brewers +126
This one is on the underdog system, but there are still other factors that make this look promising. However, that relies on the Brewers getting out of this little offensive funk of theirs. Although Gallardo hasn't done well recently, look for that to change against the Braves, cause he don't mess against these guys. Check this out, he's 3-0 with a .96 ERA against the Braves, nasty. As long as the bats come out tonight, look for the Brewers to get themselves a W.
Brewers 2 Braves 6 LOST
Brewers had the lead for a little bit, and Gallardo was pitching alright, but then he let things get out of control, and no more runs for the brew crew and Gallardo is no longer undefeated to the Braves, and we lose.
Astros vs Reds
Reds -172
The odds aren't that good, but Reds own the Astros. They got em on a leash and do what they want. That would explain why they're 9-1 2.86 ERA against them at home, and these guys be popping runs like Bonds pops steroids, 98 to the Astros 44. The only fear for this game, the Reds will fall asleep in the dugout since they'll be batting for so long and scoring!
Result: Postponed NO ACTION
The rain saved the Astros until the another day!
Orioles vs White Sox
Orioles even
This goes on the underdog system, but gotta ride the Orioles hot streak right now, and the White Sox cold one at the same time. Orioles have 3 wins right now, while White Sox are at a loss of 5 and just can't get the runs they need to win. Orioles pitcher is 3-1 against the White sox, and the Orioles have won the last 6 out of 8 against them. Lets hope they keep that trend up!
Orioles 2 White Sox 6 LOST
No go here folks. The Orioles picked up a couple in the last inning, but the White Sox found their bats a bit and did what they needed to do.
