Well I just wrote like a 2000 word post about the Rose Bowl this year but when I tried to post it there was a little snafu and it all got deleted. Shit the bed. So here is going to be a semi shorter version but still all the good stuff.
Let me start by saying that as a resident of madison wisconsin the rosebowl is huge for us. Our college goes crazy for it and the alumni go even crazier. Our band has already flown a couple 747's out there so they will be ready to bring the noise! What I'm getting at is that running out of the tunnel will be a badgers team racing into a sea of red. Homefield Advantage to the badgers. Also, Brett Bielema has been following in Barrys shadow and has created a lot of skeptics out there. He will be looking for a win here to proove himself and to get everyones mind of Barry who brought home 3 Rose Bowl Titles. In fact you would have to go back to the 60's to find the last time the Badgers actually lost this thing. Thats what i mean when I say we take this game seriously. Lets look at some numbers. The badgers have a heavy run offense. Normally this is something easy for teams to shut down but the badgers have been creating something special. We have 3 running backs with over 800 yards. The problem comes when you look at TCU's defensive numbers. They are averaging giving up a slim 89 yards on the ground per game which is insane if you dont follow sports. How do we adapt to that stat? we put a quarterback on the field who throws for 74% completion thats how. Expect us to run the ball twice and throw a screen pass every time. Ball control is going to be key in this game because TCU also boasts an impressive offense. If we can keep them and their disgusting quarterback off the field we should be okay. To sum it up this game means everything to the badgers and also a lot for TCU who has to prove they can paly with the big boys. Unfortunately what they are going to realize is that they cant. I dont care how tough they play just look at our offensive line compared to their defensive line and youll see that we outweigh them by an average of like 50 pounds its great. From my personal experience of living in madison and seeing these rosebowl games being played in the past I am confident in this pick. As your friend I adivse you to take the Badgers +3 and im going to do it for probably no less than $500. Bet the keg on this one, highest level pick we can make on this!

Poor Dirk still probably won't play tonight as they give him ample time to heal from his knee injury. Without him, the Mavs look like complete crap and the Bucks already took them out once this season with the star man. Marion won't be playing for the Mavs either. Jennings is out too, but Salmons has been doing a decent job of replacing the guy. Look for a close game but with the Bucks taking advantage of the Mavs slump and Bogut having a good day. Also, underdogs are 15-3 ATS between these two teams so that's a nice little thought. Gonna take the under as well as the the Mavs have only averaged 84.5 points a game since Dirk has been out, and we know how much the Bucks like to score! Cans of beers all around on this one!

And the first ever keg bet is won! Though we would've liked to see the Badgers win the game outright, we'll settle with the cash in the pockets and just root for the Packers and Eagles now! The beginning of the game looked like it was gonna be a shoot out with 24 points scored in the first quarter. But it slowed down and TCU showed the Badgers how a really good team plays, and the little guys take down the giants!

Them deer sure have a knack for getting the good teams while they're down. Just like when they played the Magic earlier this year who had been hit from the flu. The deer pulled it out here and shot really well which sucked because it went on the over. So this game wasn't a winner or a loser in the betting way.
